Tree Cabling
Tree cabling is an effective tree preservation tool to utilize when a tree is showing signs of weak unions or overextended branches. It is one of the least invasive options when it comes to mitigating the risk of structural failure for your favorite landscape trees.
Generally speaking, Arbortech uses a static cabling system, which consists of a steel cable and a means to terminate the cable. One to four cables may be used per tree. They are installed to reduce the movement of branches within the canopy, therefore reducing the strain on the structure of the tree.
It is important to hire an experienced team of tree care professionals to install a cable system to ensure that the cable is able to carry the weight of the branches it is supporting.
